Lockdown Secure pedal clamps were originally developed to protect our own van from theft after witnessing an attempted break-in.
It was decided that we really needed to protect our own vans on the drive at night, and as it has come to light, at any time.
After many hours of work, grinding and swearing, the first Pedal Box was finished.
Then, after a week or so, a neighbour across the street asked if we could make one of them for his van, then his workmate … then another .. the reality was that they were becoming the must-have motorhome security thing !! Being VW enthusiasts, we took them to Camperjam VW Show to get a feel of how people reacted to them .. We sold out!
Since then, we have made variations on a tried and tested unit and now fit many popular vehicles … feel free to have a look through the website, and if you can’t find the model that you have, contact us, chances are it’s on our to-do list. They have come a very, very long way since the prototype due to demand, all the boxes are laser cut, CNC bent and expertly welded by time served fabricators.
